And lifelong athletes, my husband and I have dealt with our share of aches and pains, especially as we've gotten older and developed arthritis. We were initially skeptical about whether investing in a high-end mattress would truly make a difference. However, the Tempur-pedic has exceeded our expectations. It's hands-down, the best mattress we've tried. It conforms perfectly to the body whether sleeping on my back or on my side-- a position I used to avoid due to discomfort. It sleeps a bit warm, but we wake up each morning feeling progressively better. It has made a noticeable improvement in our sleep quality and comfort.
