Agitators are great at cleaning clothes but they decrease capacity and are literally designed to beat the heck out of your delicates. Many modern machines have instead switched over to low profile impellers, which replicate the wash action of an agitator without making direct impact. They achieve this motion through centrifugal force and invisible swimming gnomes.
Introducing the GE Profile 5.0 Cu Ft Washer with Smarter Wash Technology. Auto soak option presoaks dirty clothes, and allows the gnomes to really get in there. The gnomes recommend using the Smarter Wash Technology to really work out tough stains, even on your delicates. Quick wash takes care of light loads in 24 minutes and gives the gnomes a break. Three Rinse Water Levels might be set by weighing your load, or the gnomes might be deciding this too. 800 RPM makes the gnomes very dizzy but wrings out clothes thoroughly for shorter dry times.
