It’s rare to find any appliance that is built like back in the “good old days”, but that’s exactly what this is. I don’t need fancy chimes to let me know my laundry is done, and I don’t need another touch screen in my life. I just got tired of replacing my washer much sooner than I expected, and absolutely hated how long it took my agitator-less H.E.washer to get my clothes mostly clean. This machine delivers top-notch performance quickly! Very impressed! Zero regrets. More expensive, yes. But worth every penny.

Most favorite the washer is very quiet when going through its cycles. Least favorite I wish there were more choices for the water levels, sometimes I just have a couple of items to wash. Overall, I am very happy with the choice of my washer.

I had a top load HE washer with an impeller and clothes just were not getting clean, sometimes I had to wash a 2nd time. (so much for saving energy and water, eye roll) I knew I had to buy a Speed Queen Classic if I wanted "clean" clothes but, I just couldn't afford it at the time I bought my previous washer. I made this purchase last month and have used the washer numerous times that I've had it.
Now, I'm a "clean" happy camper ;)

A standard drain line is 1.5 inches. This requires a 2 inch and will overflow your drain area or cause other issues if you don't have a 2 inch. Would have been good to know before spending $1500 on a washing machine then having to redo plumbing. The washer itself is high quality and works very well - has a lot of power and needs more drain room.
