Robin Bruce at Today's Home
At Robin Bruce, we proudly stand behind the quality of our products. Handcrafted in the USA, each piece is constructed from the best materials and guaranteed to be free from manufacturer defects for its lifetime.
FRAMES: Our frames are engineered not to warp, twist or split. We use solid kiln-dried hardwoods, and wood laminates, and we back it with a limited lifetime warranty. Joints are held solid with mortise and tenon or double-dowel and corner-block construction.
SPRINGS: Our heavy gauge steel spring system provides the base for a wonderfully comfortable and long-lasting seat. Springs are placed to provide for uniform, supported comfort and doubled up on each end to withstand the wear and tear that comes from everyday use.
CUSHIONS: Since this is mostly a matter of personal taste, we offer several cushion options. All feature a high resiliency foam core. The Susan cushion is our firmest. The Lisa, with its feather, down and regenerated polyester fiber blend, is "in the middle". And the Katie, with its very dense blend of only feather & down is, well...out of this world. Ask your Robin Bruce sales associate for details on these options.
Robin Bruce is part of the Rowe family of brands and follows the EcoRowe initiative.
Being Green
With the launch of the EcoRowe initiative, our company has made a solid commitment to eco-friendly manufacturing processes and sustainable product development. EcoRowe focuses on three crucial elements in our future — a selection of over 200 natural fiber fabrics including certified organic cottons; the use of wood from replenished, domestic forests for the frames and the choice of two eco-friendly cores.
Our eco-cushion core contains plant-based, renewable materials which replace significant amounts of petroleum-based materials used in standard foam cushions. This new core contains organic halogen-free fire retardants. Our eco-down blend cushion core is a modern combination of high-resiliency foam with recycled fiber and a blend of duck feather and down. The cotton ticking used to encase the feather and down is no longer bleached.
Each piece of Rowe and Robin Bruce furniture will include eco-wood and eco-cushion cores. With your choice of fabrics, you can create a complete eco-friendly piece of furniture.
