Delivery Driver - Peoria Heights
Starting Wage - $25/hour

Custodial and Warehouse Associate - Peoria, IL
Starting Wage - $17/hour
Schedule - Sunday - Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

As a Sherman’s Custodial and Warehouse Associate:
You’ll maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.You’ll unpack, assemble, and prep product for display or delivery.
You’ll load guest pickups and put a smile on their faces as they drive off.
You’ll greet the delivery transfer truck to receive/send product from/to our main distribution center.
You’ll keep things organized and create the perfect first impression for guests that visit our store.
And you’ll be a valuable part of a well-oiled team. A team that focuses on helping each other and getting the job done right.
The two main focuses of this job are showroom upkeep and product preparation, but everything you see around you in the store is handled by a Custodial and Warehouse Associate at some point. Maintenance Technician III - Peoria Heights, IL
Starting Wage - $30/hour
Schedule - Monday - Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm
Do you have 5+ years of experience in commercial property maintenance? Do you like to have a little variety in your workday? Carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, you name it! Are you ready for a Monday-Friday job with consistent hours? As a Sherman’s Maintenance Technician III you’ll be joining a small, but skilled team that cares for our 4 facilities throughout Central Illinois. Our facilities are large, and you’ll be kept busy with all the projects you will tackle.
Here's what to expect in your new career:
You’ll have a consistent full-time Monday-Friday schedule, 6:00am-2:30pm.
You’ll perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work on commercial properties.
You’ll use a mobile device to address maintenance requests submitted by all departments.
You’ll inspect properties and identify any potential issues.You’ll help with renovations and special projects.
Here’s what we’ll expect from you:
At least 5 years of experience in commercial property maintenance or a related field
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment
Strong communication skills
Experience with safety and compliance regulations
A valid driver's license

Here’s what you’ll do in the Clearance Center:
You’ll be trained to sell with high integrity. Think opposite of used car salesperson.
You’ll approach every customer with a smile and help them discover the deal they’re looking for.
Once you’ve helped them with their purchase, you’ll help them load it if they want to take it with them. (We’re talking big stuff- couches, refrigerators, mattresses, and more.)
You’ll participate in product trainings and develop skills to communicate that knowledge to your customers.

What is Sherman’s interview process like and how long does it typically take?
Our interview process is pretty simple. If you’ve been selected to move further along in the interview process, you will be contacted via email to do a phone interview. If all goes well, you’ll receive an email scheduling you for an in-person interview with a couple of our hiring managers. The entire process generally takes about 2-3 weeks.
